VOTM: What's the most unusual experience you've ever had at a reading?
HEATHER: I scared off a troup of Girl Scouts at an outdoor multiple stage reading in San Diego. I was reading from a group of edgy, literary fairy tale poems, and the Girl Scouts wanted to attend--"Ooh, fairy tales! Let's go to that!"--before the troup leader realized this was not content for children.
