826LA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. 826LA provides after-school tutoring, writing workshops, assistance with student publications, and much more. If you have a passion for writing, contact 826LA about becoming a volunteer.
826LA in Echo Park features a Time Travel Mart at the front of the store, and is located at 1714 W. Sunset Blvd next to Stories Books & Cafe. Entry to Vermin on the Mount is in the back, where there is plenty of parking. We'll have books, beverages, and the world famous Vermin raffle.
