VOTM: What's the most unusual experience you've had at a reading?
DALY: At a reading in Paris an Italian gentleman picked up a folding chair and cocked it to swing behind my back, WWF style. I don't know if he was joking, I didn't linger to find out.
CHARLES DALY's work has appeared in Grey Sparrow (with editorial submissions to the O. Henry & Pushcart prizes), Gloom Cupboard, Troubadour 21, A Year in Ink III & IV, the Survivors Review, and a few others. He celebrated his return to California by racing in the one-mile La Jolla Rough Water Swim. He thinks of his hats as security blankets hand-made in London.
Come see what Charles pulls out of his hat at 3rd Space in San Diego on Saturday, October 20 at 6pm.
