ALEX ESPINOZA: The strangest thing that ever happened to me at a reading? It was at a Borders in Chino. In the middle of my Q&A, a strange man who appeared to be slightly inebriated stood and asked, "Are you Espinoza the writer?" When I said "Yes," he muttered something incomprehensible and stumbled off without any follow-up. I thought there might be some mob hit out on me.
