Sarah Balcomb at Pop-Hop Books + Print in Highland Park has a great new concept for a reading series. A pair of writes are invited to read and they each invite one additional reader. It's a novel twist and should make for some unexpected readings, like this one. I've invited Chiwan Choi, an amazing poet and publisher who makes his home in DTLA. The other two readers are Jami Attenberg and Antoine Wilson, both of whom are celebrating the release new novels that have been extremely well-received. As for me, I'll read some short new work I promise you haven't heard before.
